Arvest Bank Announces McKinney Charitable Trust Recipients

The Carl and Alleen McKinney Charitable Trust, which has been managed by Arvest Bank since 1997, awarded more than $100,000 to a total of 18 organizations, it was announced recently. In accordance with the terms of the trust, awards were made for the benefit of the children, youth, elderly, poor and disadvantaged of the Bentonville area.

Arvest Bank Trust Officer Lloyd Franques administers the Trust, which has distributed more than $3 million to local charities in 20-plus years. This year’s board of directors – consisting of Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Graham Cobb, local attorney Blaine Jackson and Arvest Executive Vice President and Chief Fiduciary & Risk Officer to the Trust Division Tabi Lipscomb – awarded a total of $149,919 to these applicants:

  • Adult Development Center of Benton County DBA Open Avenues
  • Boys & Girls Club of Benton County
  • CASA of Northwest Arkansas Inc.
  • Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County
  • Circle of Life Hospice
  • Elizabeth Richardson Center
  • Helen R. Walton Children’s Enrichment Center
  • Hope Cancer Resources
  • H2O: Help-2-Others Inc.
  • Lifeline of Northwest Arkansas
  • Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter
  • Northwest Arkansas Food Bank
  • Rogers Public Education Foundation
  • Samaritan Community Center
  • Second Street Pantry Missions Inc.
  • Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Benton County
  • Sunshine School & Development Center
  •  WelcomeHealth
