Industry veteran to lead Bentonville commercial banking team.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Kelly Carlson has been promoted.

Carlson, who has worked at Arvest in a variety of capacities over the past eight years, will serve as the commercial banking team lead for downtown Bentonville. He most recently served as a commercial relationship officer, and has worked as a commercial loan assistant and credit analyst, among other positions.

“Kelly has been one of our top producers almost from the moment he joined Arvest,” said Jason England, the bank’s commercial loan manager in Benton County. “His work ethic is superb and he is tireless in ensuring that we do all we can to ensure our customers are meeting their business needs. This is a well-deserved promotion.”

Carlson earned both a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in business administration from Harding University. Additionally, he is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Foundational Commercial Lending School and American Bankers Association Advanced Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University

Active in numerous civic efforts, Carlson is a board member of both the Scott Family Amazeum and Downtown Bentonville Inc. He’s also a supporter of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Northwest fundraising efforts and a graduate of the 2014-2015 Leadership Benton County class.

Carlson and his wife, Cortney, have two daughters. The family is actively involved at the Bentonville Church of Christ.
