Miss Ann Jones and Miss Masalene Jackson don’t let their age prevent them from helping others. At 93 years old, Miss Ann accompanies Miss Masalene, who is retired, to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma* each week. Together these ladies help the food bank reduce the problem of food insecurity in the area by sorting donations that help produce 339,000 meals each week. Their motivation for such dedicated service? Paying back help received during a time of need and setting an example of selflessness for posterity. Watch these inspiring women serve.

Miss Ann and Miss Masalene’s story is part of Arvest Bank’s People Helping People series featuring citizens giving back to their community.

Keep an eye on our social media channels for videos highlighting the good works of dedicated citizens in the communities Arvest Bank serves.
