Arvest associates serving in a variety of roles across Greater Kansas City have joined Junior Achievement to help teach students, and now they are encouraging others to do the same.
There are now 15 Greater Kansas City associates volunteering with the organization, including branch managers, mortgage lenders, department managers and even three members of executive management.
Through Junior Achievement students learn the basics of business, money management and entrepreneurship while developing vital workplace skills. Volunteers can share their knowledge and lead hands-on activities to prepare students for a prosperous future.
Junior Achievement shows students how money, careers and business ownership work through the help of dedicated volunteer role models. For just a few hours during the academic year, YOU can empower a student to understand how to make informed decisions about money, be prepared for that first job interview, learn how to start a business and so much more! All training is provided. All fun is created.
Learn more about the five different ways to volunteer by visiting www.jagkc.org* and finding the best fit for you.
