Retirement can be a time to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life. But for David McIntosh, retirement is busier than ever!

After 26 years teaching anatomy and physiology at a university and being in biological sciences, David now volunteers at a hospital in Bartlesville, Okla., working in the emergency room. The support he provides changing linens, stocking supply shelves, running errands and jumping in to assist where needed, helps ensure the patients get the best care possible. Watch how David’s not letting retirement slow him down.

David’s story is part of Arvest Bank’s People Helping People series featuring citizens giving back to their community.

Keep an eye on our social media channels for videos highlighting the good works of dedicated citizens in the communities Arvest Bank serves.
