2016 Art Contest “Thank a Veteran”

In honor of Veterans Day, we’ll be hosting a children’s art contest with the theme “thank a veteran.” The contest is open to any child in kindergarten through sixth grade. 

Guidelines
Drawing should be in color and on a white 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper and depict what “thank a veteran” means to the child. Please do not identify any names on the drawing. Complete the art contest entry form and attach to the final artwork. Email aspradlin@arvest.com for a copy of the entry form. Entries without an entry form will not be judged. 

All drawings must be delivered and postmarked by Oct. 21, 2016. Completed entry forms and artwork may be sent to: Arvest Bank, Attn: Angela Spradlin, 5201 S.W. Lee Blvd., Lawton, OK 73505.  

Winners and Prizes
Arvest Bank will award the top three individuals in each of the following age divisions: 
  • Age Division 1: Kindergarten – First Grade 
  • Age Division 2: Second and Third Grade 
  • Age Division 3: Fourth through Sixth Grade 
The following prizes will be awarded in each division:  
  • 1st place: $100 Arvest Visa Gift Card 
  • 2nd place: $50 Arvest Visa Gift Card 
  • 3rd place: $25 Arvest Visa Gift Card 
Winners will be announced at a Veterans Day reception Nov. 11, 4-6 p.m. at the Armed Services YMCA located at 900 N.W. Cache Rd., Lawton, Okla. R.S.V.P. to (580) 250-4503. Light appetizers and drinks will be served.

All artwork becomes property of Arvest Bank and will not be returned. Immediate family members of Arvest associates are not eligible to win.

My daughter got a letter from y'all stating that her art work will be displayed at the VA center. Is that in Lawton Oklahoma and how long will it be up

Tori - A big thanks to your daughter for sharing her artistic abilities! Her art will be on display in binders throughout the year at the VA Center in Lawton, Okla. We look forward to sharing her work with the veterans the VA serves!
