Apply for Student Leadership Program in Rogers, Ark.

Applications are being accepted now through Aug. 26 for the Arvest First Leadership Program through the Rogers-Lowell (Ark.) Chamber of Commerce.* 

The purpose of Arvest First Leadership is to invest in the future of our community by providing a student-focused program of innovative strategies to promote participant growth and leadership opportunities. 
All sophomores and juniors who reside within the Rogers (Ark.) School District or attend school at Rogers High School, Heritage High School and New Technology High School are eligible to apply. Interested students must meet certain criteria, which can be found on the application. 
The program runs Sept. 9, 2016 - April 12, 2017. Monthly sessions are held at various locations in Rogers and focus on different aspects of the local and state government, community service, business and finance, technology and workforce development and higher education. Students also have the opportunity to travel to Little Rock and visit several historical and government sites. There are no registration or participation fees associated with the program.
