Arvest Bank in Southwest Oklahoma is proud to uphold its tradition of fundraising for the United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and Stephens County. The United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and Stephens County supports over 40 programs in 10 counties operated by organizations that feed, educate, and care for local children, families and adults. United Way is a great example that “people helping people,” Arvest’s mission, is a solid foundation for successful, prosperous communities.

From July 1 to Sept. 2, Arvest branches in Southwest Oklahoma will be collecting “change for change” and selling candy bars at the teller line. Associates will show their commitment to the community by braving the heat on July 15 to “Fill the Pig”! Associates will wash windshields in the drive-thru lanes in exchange for cash donations to a piggy bank.

On Doughnate Day, Aug. 5, Arvest branches in Southwest Oklahoma will be selling Hurts Donuts. Pre-orders by the dozen will be taken through July 28. To pre-order visit an Arvest branch in Southwest Oklahoma to get and complete a pre-order form. Donuts will also be available for purchase in Arvest branches in Southwest Oklahoma for $2/donut or $20/dozen donuts. Delivery options will be available 8-10 a.m.

The fundraising will close with the sweet taste of Billy Sims BBQ sandwiches on Sept. 2 at two branch locations: 4330 N.W. Cache Rd. in Lawton and 729 W. Main St. in Duncan. A BBQ sandwich, chips and a drink may be purchased 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for $6. Pre-orders for large groups are recommended.

Arvest Bank has participated in the United Way’s fundraising campaigns for many years. Associates and customers go above and beyond each year to fundraise for the United Way. We look forward to another successful campaign this year. We encourage you to join in on the fun and support the United Way and its agencies in our communities!
