Voice of the Customer Event for Kansas City Chamber

Arvest in Greater Kansas City and The Kansas City Better Business Bureau will be sponsoring an event for the Kansas City Chamber on March 2, 2016, 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at KC Chamber’s Board Room at Union Station (30 W. Pershing Rd., Kansas City, Mo.). The class titled “Voice of YOUR customer: Tools for Business Success” features speakers Kathy Toney and Jessica Best. The event is free and open to the public. Registration* is required and breakfast will be provided.  

Speaker Kathy Toney is president and founder of Kent Business Solutions, a business consultancy that helps businesses find the hidden money in their organizations through giving customers what they want. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Professional with 20+ years of Fortune 100 corporate experience, primarily in the areas of Voice of the Customer (VOC)**, Business Process Improvement (BPI), market research and project management.
 
Kathy is also a self-proclaimed Voice of the Customer Evangelist. She is passionate about teaching companies the best way to communicate with customers to improve engagement, increase profitability and guide them towards that end.
 
Speaker Jessica Best is a digital marketing evangelist with Emfluence, with over seven years of social media and email marketing experience. She’s worked on award-winning campaigns for a wide variety of clients locally, regionally and nationally, from SPIN! Pizza to Beauty Brands to The Roasterie. She also leads the product team at Emfluence, spear heading a powerful, intuitive digital marketing platform that combines tools for email, social media, online listening and marketing automation. 
 
Over the past four years, Jessica has spread the good word of smarter digital marketing from New York City to Las Vegas to South by Southwest Interactive in Austin, Texas. Her audiences have included thousands of individuals from hundreds of organizations. Jessica lives in Kansas City and is an active member of the marketing community, including being immediate past president for the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association. Her passions are good food, good people and great digital marketing.
