Arvest associates in Kansas City built snowmen, sang along with Elsa to “Let It Go” and enjoyed breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 23 at the branch located in Mission, Kan. The party celebrated Arvest granting a three-year-old’s wish to go to Disney World.

Each month, the Charitable Committee in Greater Kansas City selects an associate-nominated organization to benefit from their Casual for a Cause program, where associates are allowed to wear jeans on Friday in exchange for a donation to the cause. The December recipient was the Make-A-Wish Foundation benefitting a little girl named Jaelah and her wish to go to Disney World. In addition to the Casual for a Cause program, associates also held an art auction and invited customers to join the effort. Fundraising resulted in an all-time high, with more than $7,600 being contributed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in support of Jaelah’s dream.
Jaelah loves Disney princesses and her favorite is Elsa from the movie “Frozen.” Elsa traveled from Arendelle to partake in this joyous occasion and was able to deliver the good news to Jaelah in person.
“It was such a rewarding experience to tell Jaelah she gets to go to the most magical place on earth! I was honored to deliver the news,” said Justine Cinotto, Arvest associate who played Elsa for the day.
In addition to her love for Elsa and Anna, Jaelah is a huge Peppa Pig fan. Arvest, in conjunction with AEG, arranged a meet-and-greet with Peppa Pig for the upcoming show in March at the Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland. The family can’t wait to attend!
Granting a Disney World wish was a day that will be remembered by all that were able to attend. What a way to make dreams come true, Kansas City!
