Join us Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. for our Friday Financial Forum. We will meet at the Friday Forum Room at Arvest's East Side Branch, located at 4225 S.E. Adams Rd. in Bartlesville, Okla.*

Kay Little of Little History Adventures will be at the forum this week to present a portrayal of life in Oklahoma before, during and following the Dust Bowl days in the 1930s.

While teaching her sons, Kay became very interested in history and started teaching local, state and U.S. history to groups of homeschoolers. After "retiring," Kay started her own business, Little History Adventures, to share with people of all ages about local, state and U.S. history.

Kay has been an educator for more than 35 years, public and private, and served as education coordinator at Bartlesville Area History Museum for six and a half years and has served on the boards for BCHEF (local homeschool group), Wesleyan Christian School and Bartlesville Allied Arts and Humanities Council.

What you can expect at the event:

  • Information: Community leaders share topical, local and state information (Sen. John Ford, Rep. Earl Sears & Rep. Travis Dunlap)
  • News: "The Scoop" – all about business and community happenings in Bartlesville (Billie Roane, Arvest Bank)

  • Hilarious Anecdotes: Jim Bohnsack, Arvest Bank
