Join us Friday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. for our Friday Financial Forum. We will meet at the Friday Forum Room at Arvest's East Side Branch, located at 4225 S.E. Adams Rd. in Bartlesville, Okla*. Every Friday we invite customers like you to attend our one-hour Financial Forum.

This week’s featured speaker is Chris Batchelder, president of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association. He previously held the position as the executive vice president and chief programs officer for the organization. Chris was born and raised in Bartlesville and graduated from OSU in 1995. Many of his family members also attended OSU including his mother, Becca. His father, Gene, and his uncle, David, are both members of the OSU Hall of Fame. The Traditions Hall fireplace inside the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center is named for Batchelder's grandfather, Arley, the first member of his family to graduate from college. He made a commitment after receiving his degree from Oklahoma State to ensure his sons and their families attended college.
Batchelder received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from OSU in 1995. Later that same year he joined the executive training program as a buyer for Foley’s Department stores in Houston, Texas. Batchelder’s marketing and leadership skills earned him a position with the OSU Foundation where he served as director of development. During his eight years working as vice president for First Bartlesville Bank and Arvest Bank, Batchelder gained another perspective to bring to his position with the OSU Alumni Association.
Chris and his wife, Angie, have three children: twin daughters Abbey and Emily and son Brady. Go Pokes!
