Each year as the calendar pages dwindle and the days grow short, thoughts in Rogers, Ark., turn to the most exciting weekend of the year — Arvest Hoopfest at Rogers High School.* This year’s annual Arvest Hoopfest basketball tournament will be held Dec. 10-12.

Instead of snowflakes flying through the air, it will be basketballs as eight teams from Arkansas and Missouri compete in the tournament that has become an indicator of the season to come for its competitors.

“The Arvest Hoopfest each year is a wonderful tradition for our players and the participating teams," said Mark Holderbaum, athletic director, Rogers Public School System. “We always look forward to this early season tournament to help polish the skills of our student-athletes before they jump into the regular season.”

The Arvest Hoopfest basketball tournament has officially released the brackets for this year’s tournament.

The tournament will be held at Rogers High School 4 p.m. on Dec. 10, 4 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 1 p.m. on Dec. 12. Trophies are presented to the top three teams and medals to individuals.
