Update 10/12/15: Arvest Debit, Credit and Spending Cards are now available in ApplePay! Learn more at

The Apple Pay availability date for Arvest customers has changed, and at this time we believe it will be ready this summer. We understand this is important to our customers and apologize for the delay. We are doing everything we can to expedite the implementation. More work needs to be completed by our processing partners in order to deliver the service.

Once Apple Pay is available we’ll announce it on, Arvest Bank on Facebook* and @ArvestBank on Twitter.* We’ll also email customers who use mobile banking on an Apple device. Make sure you have an up-to-date email address with Arvest so you will receive this update. Update your email address by calling Customer Service at (866) 952-9523 or through online banking. To update your email address online, log in to online banking, select the “Accounts” tab, select “Statements” and then “Change my primary email address.” Once you update your email address, click “Save.”
Again, we apologize for the delay and are anxious to provide this sought after service to our customers.

What is the reason for the delay/change date? Thanks
Arvest Blog Admin on 2/16/2015 at 7:35 PM

Blaine - Thanks for your interest! The release date has changed because we're waiting on our processing partners to complete their work. We're excited for this upcoming service and will post on social media when it's available!

RJ on 4/28/2015 at 2:49 PM
Is this still the case, or is there any new update?
Arvest Blog Admin on 4/28/2015 at 6:21 PM
RJ - Thanks for your interest! At this time Apple Pay is still scheduled to be released this summer. We're excited to offer this feature to our customers!

+1 for this. One of the reasons I got the new Apple Watch was to use Apple Pay because I thought Arvest was ready.
Arvest Blog Admin on 5/4/2015 at 7:26 PM
PJ - We're excited about Apple Pay coming out this summer! We too are anxious for you to begin using this convenient new feature!
Nick on 5/5/2015 at 6:49 PM
Can you be any more specific about when it'll be available? Beginning end of summer?
Arvest Blog Admin on 5/5/2015 at 8:37 PM
Nick - We're happy to hear you're interested in Apple Pay! At this time we're estimating Apple Pay will be available near the end of the summer. We appreciate your patience as we implement this cool new feature!

Is anxiously awaiting Arvest support for Apple Pay using our debit/check card! Hopefully soon!
Arvest Blog Admin on 6/1/2015 at 1:48 PM
Jason - So are we! We'll be sure to announce on social media when this exciting new feature is available!
Joshua on 6/2/2015 at 4:36 PM
"This summer" worked fine when it was January. Can we not get a more specific date range now? At least a month?
David on 6/8/2015 at 6:04 PM
VERY disappointed that Arvest hasn't brought Apple Pay to their customers! How can it be that Arvest is taking sooo long to get it done while many other banks have had it for months??
BC on 6/9/2015 at 8:34 PM
We were told earlier this year it would be ready in June. Now I am told who knows if ever it will be ready. Should we all just switch banks so we can use Apple Pay? For some reason I thought Arvest was a top notch bank. I guess I am wrong.
Arvest Blog Admin on 6/10/2015 at 9:41 PM

Joshua, David and BC -- We regret to announce the further delay of Apple Pay availability. Our processing partner estimates we’ll be able to roll out Apple Pay in October. We apologize for this additional shift in schedule of this exciting feature. Further information can be found in our most recent blog post.

It's funny (pr: unfortunate) how Arvest was the first regional bank to *announce* support for Apple Pay, while they seem destined to be the last to actually *offer* that support.
Arvest Blog Admin on 6/16/2015 at 5:52 PM
Joshua - We too are disappointed at the time it's taking to make Apple Pay available to our customers.
Tony on 8/11/2015 at 3:42 PM
We are now in August and Summer is almost over. Can we please get an Arvest response to when? There are many small mom and pop banks in the region that have been providing Apple Pay since a few months after inception yet Arvest still fails almost a year later? Please offer it or say your non but don't lead us on any longer!
Arvest Blog Admin on 8/11/2015 at 6:20 PM

Tony - We currently expect to release Apple Pay in October. We apologize for the delay. More details in this June blog post.

October of which year, I think we are all starting to wonder? This puts me in mind of the yet unresolved issue with the arvest mobile Iphone app that I and at least one other reported many many months ago. The latest couple of verssions contain some critical, but easily resolved, bugs which make the app extremely difficult to use by blind voiceover users. After reporting this, I got back a note saying that the issues were known, and that a fix was in the works, and would be released soon. Come on guys! Don't make promises until you're ready and able to deliver. apple pay would be awesome, but the broken app has caused us to start to strongly consider other banks.

Bill - We're sorry to hear you're upset. We've forwarded your comment along to local management for review.
Jerome on 10/2/2015 at 1:41 AM
Will Apple Pay be available this month?
Arvest Blog Admin on 10/2/2015 at 6:17 PM
Jerome - Yes, we plan to release Apple Pay this month (October)! Thanks for your patience.
Brayden on 10/5/2015 at 4:10 AM
I had contacted the customer support email service and was informed the Apple Pay service will be launching October 6th, can this be confirmed?
Arvest Blog Admin on 10/5/2015 at 6:31 PM
Brayden - We are in the late stages of testing Apple Pay, and it'll be available soon! We'll be sure to announce it's release on and social media. We appreciate your patience.
They Finally Did It on 10/7/2015 at 5:05 PM
So there was no announcement or anything but I was just able to successfully add my Arvest Bank debit card to ApplePay. After I entered my card details all I had to do was call and verify my info. Thank you Arvest!
Arvest Blog Admin on 10/7/2015 at 7:12 PM
Apple Pay is currently in testing. Once testing is done we'll announce on and social media that it is available. Thank you for your patience.
