You are cordially invited to attend the Arvest Downtown Financial Forum on Monday, July 14 noon – 1 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips Garden Room at 310 SW Keeler Ave., Bartlesville, Okla. Drinks and cookies will be provided.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Arvest Asset Management Regional Investment Officers Josh Randolph and Sonya Reed will deliver an economic update.
  • Josh also will deliver some hilarious jokes.
  • Arvest's Amelya Wilmott will share "The Scoop."
  • Guest Speaker, Nida Cakir Melek, will give us an economic and energy report.

Nida Cakir Melek is an economist in the Regional Affairs Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. She joined the department in August 2013 after receiving her Ph.D. from UCLA. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey and an M.A. in Economics from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. Her primary areas of research are macroeconomics, energy and international development.

I'm always looking for creative ways to peak someone's interest for my events - this was creative enough to make me want to attend if I was in the area
