Arvest Holds Hackler Monument Fundraiser in Mountain Home, Ark.

To honor Evelyn and the late Robert Hackler, Mountain Home, Ark. educators, a bronze bust will be put in Hackler Intermediate School. A fund has been opened to donate to the cost of making the bust.

YELLVILLE, Ark. — Arvest Bank is spearheading a community-wide fundraiser to honor beloved Mountain Home educators, Evelyn and the late Robert Hackler. The fundraiser will support the creation of a bronze sculpted bust of the Hacklers that will be placed at Hackler Intermediate School.

Local artist Ron Moore was commissioned to construct the sculpture.

To gather the needed $7,057 in funding, Arvest has established an account and will accept donations of any size. Arvest Bank asks that individuals contribute donations “From your heart, to honor the Hacklers.” All donations accepted will go towards the cost of the bust. 

Those who wish to contribute to the donation pool can drop off their donations at any Arvest location. Donations can also be sent by mail to:

The fundraising campaign will run from June 9 to July 21, 2014. Donors who contribute $500 or more will be recognized at a later date.
