Arvest Bank Announces Tom Dame as North Central Arkansas President

We're thrilled Tom Dame has accepted the position as President for Arvest Bank in North Central Arkansas. Dame's experience in a variety of banking positions since 1977 will be a benefit in his new role.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Tom Dame has been named the new local bank President for Arvest Bank in North Central Arkansas. Regional Executive Cliff Gibbs made the announcement today.

Dame began his career in banking in 1977 serving in roles such as director, CEO, CCO and trust manager in communities across West Kentucky and Tennessee. Since relocating to North Central Arkansas, he has served the past 10 years as Market Loan Manager for Arvest Bank-NCA.

“We are thrilled to announce Tom as the new local bank president of North Central Arkansas. He has proved himself an important asset to Arvest throughout his years of dedication to the company,” said Gibbs. “We are looking forward to the continued value he will bring to Arvest as we move forward.”

Dame received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, attended the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University, the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and the Executive Banking Institute at the University of Louisville.

Since 2000, Dame has served as a Rotary International member, previously serving as past board member and president. He is affiliated with the American Bankers Association (ABA) serving in prior positions on the ABA Accounting Committee, ABA Education Foundation Board of Trustees, Community Bankers Council, Kentucky Bankers Association Board (KBA), and KBA Board of Trustees for the KBA School of Banking. He is a past member of the Chamber of Commerce of Mountain Home, Ark., Obion County Chamber and Fulton City Chamber.  Dame also previously served as the lead consultant of ABA’s accredited Bank Management Simulation, BankExec, and was a faculty member at the Kentucky School of Banking, the Iowa School of Banking and the Wisconsin School of Banking.

Dame is married to Lynn Dame and they share three sons, three daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.
