We're happy to have a business unit in Fort Smith, Ark., that specializes in assisting the needs of small businesses and community organizations.

FORT SMITH, Ark. — Arvest Bank in Fort Smith has a new benefit to offer the community, the Arvest Business Resource Center (BRC). Located inside the Parklane branch at 3200 Rogers Ave., the Arvest BRC serves small businesses and organizations in the community that may otherwise be overlooked in traditional commercial banking.

Because Arvest understands businesses need and deserve more from a financial institution in today’s complex business environment, the Arvest BRC’s dynamic staff will help guide businesses and organizations through the myriad of financial choices and decisions owners and directors face.

The Arvest BRC is available to address whatever needs businesses and organizations may face in the Fort Smith community; such as, financing purchases, receiving and making payments electronically (ACH), online cash management tools, credit card processing, employee management resources, fraud protection, investments/401K, and more, or simply needing an experienced professional available to ask a question.

“Customers may already use many of these services with multiple providers; our goal is for Arvest to be their one-stop, exclusive provider,” Arvest BRC Vice President Chris Raible said.  “That’s what the Arvest Business Resource Center is all about. Arvest provides the products, services, locations, and the associates to give the small business customers what they need to promote their success. We are excited about this new endeavor to revolutionize how business banking should be.”

The Arvest BRC team consists of Chris Raible, Business Resource Center Manager, Alex Sanchez, Business Development Officer, and Maggen Watkins, Personal Banker. Raible, who has held various roles, including Loan Operations Manager, during 25 years at Arvest, also serves as Vice President of Arvest Fort Smith. He earned a marketing degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, attended the American Bankers Association National Commercial and Consumer Lending Schools, and Risk Management Association Lending Academy. Additionally, Raible has completed Omega Performance Financial Training, is a Questa Certified banker, and Leadership Fort Smith alum.

Sanchez has been a Business Development Officer for the Fort Smith Region since 2009, primarily focusing on the Hispanic segment. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas, is a board member for both the Crisis Intervention Center and the Western Arkansas Planning and Development District, and is on the advisory board for the Adult Education Center.

Watkins has established a proven track record of leadership and exceptional customer service during her nine-plus years at Arvest, and has experience and knowledge in both retail and lending areas.

With a combined 40 years of service, the Arvest BRC team has the experience to provide the exceptional products and customer service that everyone has come to expect from Arvest Bank.
