The United Way of Northwest Arkansas Diaper Drive kicks off May 5 and lasts until May 16. Join in helping families in need. You can drop off disposable diapers in any size at any Arvest location in Northwest Arkansas. Other diaper drop off locations include: United Way of Northwest Arkansas office, 40/29 studios, Kimberly-Clark office and Wal-Mart stores.

One in three moms have struggled to provide diapers for their babies, according to Huggies’ Every Little Bottom Study. When parents struggle to provide diapers they’re faced with options like leaving babies in wet diapers, which can cause diaper rash, and cleaning out dirty diapers to re-use.

All diaper donations will go to the Northwest Arkansas Diaper Bank which was started in 2011 with a donation of 1 million diapers from Kimberly-Clark. As of the beginning of 2014, 600,000 diapers have been given away and there is an ongoing need to keep the diaper supply replenished. The Northwest Arkansas Diaper Bank disperses the diapers to their 12 diaper bank member agencies for distribution to local families in need. On average 30,000 diapers and wipes are dispersed monthly to over 1,170 children in about 830 families.
