Budget Box Mobile Storage owner Jay Williams takes pride in modeling his services around his customers’ needs, not the other way around.  He keeps an extra delivery truck and driver ready for those times when customers need a storage container on short notice.

When it was time for Williams to choose a bank for his business needs, he chose Arvest Bank in Grove, Okla.

“Arvest has been with us every step of the way,” Williams said. “From the initial business loan, to equipment purchases and lines of credit. Like us, they believe in treating their customers with respect and modeling their business around the needs of their customers.”

The Williams family has been in the container sales business in Oklahoma since 2000. It all started in Grove when Williams’ father, Don, added container sales to his machine shop business. Jay Williams, who spent 10 years as a product development executive, helped his father in Grove for a year before forming Allied Container Sales, LLC in Tulsa in 2008.

In 2011, Allied Container Sales bought Budget Box, which served Tulsa since 2004. Today, the company is Budget Box Mobile Storage, dedicated to serving its customers in Tulsa and the surrounding areas.

Budget Box Mobile Storage* has the largest locally owned container fleet in Tulsa and is the only local company that both rents and sells storage containers. Williams and his team provide on-site storage at competitive rates, delivered and received promptly, with no hidden fees.

As a small business owner, Williams puts in plenty of overtime, so he values the convenience of Arvest Bank’s extended hours.

Another way Arvest helps Williams save time and run his company efficiently is with Arvest Lockbox Services.

“We used to spend more than an hour each day processing payments from customers. Copying checks, filling out deposits and running them to the bank,” Williams said. “Now, our customer payments are sent directly to a lockbox at Arvest. What previously took more than an hour each day now takes just 15 minutes.”

As Williams sees it, Arvest combines the conveniences of a regional bank with the personal service of a local bank. That service proved helpful at times when Williams moved to expand his business.

“I’ve made equipment purchases on the fly with only a call to the president of my local branch,” he said. “The money was immediately transferred, and the paperwork was completed when I got back to town.”

Budget Box Mobile Storage is a small business finding long-term success. Williams attributes the company’s success to an abiding humility that continually strives to better serve others.

“It’s Arvest’s example of humility and servant-leadership that Budget Box Mobile Storage follows, and, I’m convinced, that is the principle that allows us to prosper in a tough economy,” Williams said.
