Clay Maxey has been in Harrison, Ark., for just a couple of months, but he couldn’t feel better about making the move.

Maxey, who owns Clay Maxey Ford,* said he chose to make the move from central Arkansas because Harrison is a “wonderful community and the area is a great place to bring my family.”

Maxey and his wife, Heather, have two sons. Maxey said his 19 years in the car business have taught him to treat those who walk into his dealership like those who live in his home.

“We will treat you like family and will always give you great customer service,” Maxey said.

The dealership, which employs 40 people, is located at 311 Hwy 62-65 Bypass South. It also has a Facebook page* to help it connect with customers.

Maxey said it’s those employees and their “hands-on approach” that separates the dealership from its competitors. That team, and hard work, is what has made Maxey successful.

Likewise, Maxey credited the team at Arvest Bank for its support.

“Arvest has been wonderful to help me,” he said. “I could not have done it without them. They treated me as a friend from Day 1.”
