On April 16th, 2012, Sudha Amaran and her husband Arjun purchased the franchise of Primrose School of Leawood in Leawood, Kan.  Primrose School is an early childhood education center, and the Amarans’ son is also a student in the school.    When they learned of the owner’s plans to sell the school, their love of kids and the Kansas City community made the decision to purchase the franchise an easy one.

Sudha says what sets their school apart from the rest is their curriculum.  At Primrose School of Leawood, students are exposed to Primrose’s Balanced Learning Curriculum.  The curriculum is brought to life each day by passionate teachers who have degrees in education and most have been in the early childhood education industry for many years.  The curriculum consists of multiple aspects of development and learning - cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative.   The engaging learning activities that make up the curriculum are appropriate for children at different stages of development – from six weeks to kindergarten.

The School is currently enrolling young toddlers and private kindergarten students, however, spots are filling up quickly! Sudha says that if parents are interested in learning more about the school, they should know about the Primrose Guarantee: “Give us a month.  If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll fully reimburse you for your month’s tuition.”  Sudha proudly mentions that to this day, no parent has ever asked for a refund.

The Amarans turn to Arvest Bank for their financial needs and appreciate the personal touch that Arvest bankers incorporate into every day banking functions.  Sudha says, “We love the fact that if we need something, we KNOW who our bankers are, and that they will assist us promptly and follow-up immediately once it’s done.  When we come to the bank, we’re always greeted warmly and by name, which took some getting used to!  Lastly, we enjoy having a bank that we are comfortable in referring friends and acquaintances to…we love Arvest!”

If you’re looking for an educational early childhood center, we invite you to contact the Primrose School of Leawood at 913-897-8900 or visit them online at
