The following press release is an announcement of three new hires that have joined our mortgage lending department in the Greater Kansas City market. The new Arvest members will be a key part of building the mortgage lending sector and Arvest as a whole. Welcome to Arvest, Paul England, Tammy Wood and Kevin Mason!
KANSAS CITY, Mo., (September 14, 2011)—Arvest Bank recently hired Paul England, Tammy Wood, and Kevin Mason to further strengthen the mortgage lending department in the Greater Kansas City market. All three are longtime mortgage lenders in the Kansas City area and will focus their efforts on establishing and developing business relationships for the bank’s growing mortgage division.
Paul England joins Arvest Bank as assistant vice president and mortgage lending manager. He has over twenty-five years of banking experience, most of which was spent in mortgage lending and operations. England graduated from Northwest Missouri State University and received his MBA from the Keller School of Management. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, England is the past president of the Mortgage Banker Association of Kansas City and currently serves on the board of the Missouri Mortgage Bankers Association and is a member of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce.
Tammy Wood was hired as assistant vice president and mortgage loan officer and will work to develop business opportunities for the mortgage division. She has worked in the mortgage industry for over twenty years and holds a FHA DE designation. Wood attended Northwest Missouri State University where she was a member of the Tri Sigma Sorority. She is currently a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and Mortgage Bankers Association and volunteers as a volleyball coach for the Gladstone, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department. Wood is from Belton, Missouri and has three children and one grandchild.
Kevin Mason, assistant vice president and mortgage lender, has twenty-five years of mortgage lending experience and will work to further strengthen Arvest Bank’s mortgage loan department in the Greater Kansas City area. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University and an MBA from the University of Central Missouri. Mason is involved in the college mentor program at Cristo Rey High School and is an active member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
